General Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to products and services provided by Distinctive Web Creations. Ordering any products or services offered on our website indicates that you have read, understand and accept these terms.

Unless indicated otherwise, all prices displayed for products and services on this site are in Australian dollars.

The following services require a 25% non-refundable deposit before commencement of works:
- Pre-designed website
- Custom-designed website
- Website redesign
- Web Programming
This deposit will be required once confirmation of the total cost for site and/or program creation has been advised to you, and accepted by you. This confirmation advice will include the total deposit amount required, and how to remit this amount.

On satisfactory completion of your site and/or program, payment of the outstanding balance is required within 14 days. Distinctive Web Creations will retain copyright ownership of the created material until all outstanding payments have been made in full, and in the event of non-payment, reserves the right to remove the material from the Internet or disable site services.

No deposits are required for ongoing maintenance, domain name registration or web hosting, however the following conditions apply to payment for these services:
- Payment of maintenance services must be made within 14 days of the work being completed. Distinctive Web Creations will retain copyright ownership of the updated material until payment has been made, and in the event of non-payment reserves the right to remove updated work from the site.
- Payment for domain name registration and web hosting (if applicable) must be made before the domain name registration or web hosting services are provided.

Website templates are provided for purchase "as is", and include all html, css, PSD, fla, swf and other files to display the templates as shown.

Distinctive Web Creations do not generally issue refunds for website templates, however, we will consider refunds on a case by case basis if all parties agree that the product provided is "not as described". The deadline for any refund claim is one week after the order date.
